How do you think pipes are connected? There are different methods which are quite amazing and appreciable. Learn more about the pipes getting connected, making it possible for water to flow through water pipes:

Fastening

There is a tool called the fastener. With the help of this fastener, you can connect all kinds of strong materials together and ensure they don’t break free. This tool mechanically connects the required objects, in this case the pipes. A bolt is used for one pipe to be fixed to another one. Fastening requires a lot of strength of the plumber to do all the work with his hands by applying force.

Threading

While you might consider a thread to be weak and fragile, a threaded screw is what we are talking about. This method includes the threaded screw to be installed between two pipes which are supposed to be attached together. Steel pipes are the pipes which are usually joined together using the threaded screws.

Welding

Perhaps the oldest and strongest method of connecting two pipes is welding. However, we are talking about solvent welding right now. A particular solvent that melts and fuses through the plastic pipes is what the welding is about. When the solvent fuses through the plastic pipes, it enables them to melt slightly and fuse together automatically. This means there is not a lot of mechanic work required only the dropping of sufficient solvent on pipes waiting to be connected.

Soldering

This is another very common method of fixing two pipes together. You will just have to hire a London plumber who brings the right kind of flux. This flux is metallic or aluminum device which can be used to connect two pipes together. This ensures that the pipes are connected at a point which is visible and therefore can be treated in case of water leaks or other issues.
